Amanda Bynes was arrested for driving under the influence early Friday (April 6th) morning in West Hollywood. GossipCop.com reported that the 26-year-old actress was busted after hitting the back of a Los Angeles County Sheriff deputy's vehicle in a failed attempt to pass it.

Both cars sustained minor paint damage, but no one was injured. Bynes was released from jail later in the day on Friday after paying $5,000 bail. This is Bynes' second brush with the law this year. Last months she was pulled over by police in Los Angeles for talking on her cell phone -- but sped away before they finished writing her a ticket. It's believed no legal action was taken against her for leaving the scene.
